Private Health Scheme
Clients can access all services available at both ProActive and Rehabilitation Health’s practices at Adamstown and East Maitland without the need for a referral. If you have Private Health then you are entitled to a rebate from your Health Fund (if you have the appropriate cover). Rebates can be accessed as follows:
- Initial assessments are covered under Code 102
- Follow Up appointments are covered under Code 202
- Small Group Training is covered under Code 502
The level of rebate is dependent on the Private Health Insurer and your level of cover. If you do not have Private Health Insurance then services for Exercise Physiology can be accessed through the Enhanced Primary Care Plan
Our Exercise Physiologists can assist you with the following conditions or concerns:
- Rehabilitation of chronic musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain.
- Mental health disorders.
- Weight loss.
- Training programs to achieve health and fitness goals.
- Women’s health issues.
- And all conditions that can be covered under the Enhanced Primary Care Plan, NDIS, and Workers Compensation.
